The greatest thing about Turner Sparks is that it never occurs to him that something might not be possible. He's the guy who has the idea in a bar and then actually pulls it off. At 23, he talked the Chinese government into letting him launch the first ice cream truck in China. This was back in the mid-2000s when China was like the wild west for American franchises. Turner's Mister Softee Ice Cream trucks were wildly successful for 10 years until the Chinese government shut them down. But it was great material for Turner's next career in standup comedy. Turner then launched Kung Fu Komedy, mainland China's first standup comedy club and eventually sold it to Live Nation. These days, you'll find Turner Sparks touring the US as a standup comic and behind the mic of the "Lost in America podcast." In this Dying To Ask, Fitz and Geoff find out how you know whether an idea is just plain crazy or just crazy enough.
